My husband and I spend $150 in groceries each week and about $200 a month for eating out. Food for two cats is between $150 and $200 per month.

laughing.gif I'm not heartless enough to get some leopards.

There are extra cans to be carried over to the next month or serve as buffer so it's more likely $2.50-$4 a day in reality. I've tried feeding cheaper brands and also more expensive brands to the two Siamese cats but they'd have digestive problems and would end up visiting the vet. sad.gif

We spend waaaayyyy less than $200 a month! My husband works all day so I only have to make a big meal for dinner, and right now he is on a diet. So I'm kind of the only one really eating something and that doesn't count as much since I don't eat a lot. haha

We don't have to buy groceries every month so I would say $100/$150 every 2 months. We shop at Ralphs that is right by our house and we have their card to get discounts and we also save on gas.

And we don't eat out a lot because we have stuff at home and it also helps us to eat healthy. Only if it's something special like anniversary, birthdays and things like that.

We love saving money! Especially because we want to start our own family soon :)

If you spend that, it's about a dollar a day/ person. Are you sure that is correct?

Pets are expensive! Our puppies get about $160 in treats a month and $100 -$150 in food.

$530 a month the last two months on both gas and groceries, one restaurant dinner. Every penny entered in the spread sheet. But we were really being careful. Family of four.

We average about $100 a week for two adults. However, I'm home 24/7 and hubby is home 4 days of the week, so we cover breakfast, lunch and dinner for two people for most days. I keep track of our grocery spending on a chart. We do most of our shopping at Costco and Win Co and eat quite well with lots of fresh produce. If we had to do it more cheaply we could (I used to live on $80 a month for food) but we like to cook fancy dinners and have some beers and wine along with our food :P

About 300$ a month for 2 people. I love cooking, do it every day from scratch. I try to go to the grocery store once a week, and plan the meals in advance so i know exactly what I need to buy and don't spend extra on things that might be wasted. I'm very particular about this, because my mom is the extreme opposite of me, and it always drove me a bit crazy ranting33va.gif

Oh, i almost forgot our cat. About 50 dollars a month on her food.
