Does anyone know what is the current trend in waiting time for NOA2 at CSC? I am on 172 days of waiting for NOA2 and am loosing all hope!

USCIS still says 5 months but several folks on here are saying 6-7 months I'm afraid

I called this morning. They said they are processing July 12th petitions. I am a July 26th filer so we gotta keep waiting. Not too much longer.

How do you get through to anyone there? Every time I call it's just automated and it won't let me speak with an operator. I would just love to hear a real person tell me that we weren't forgotten about.

How do you get through to anyone there? Listen to the prompts, enter your receipt number, listen to the most recent update on your case, and wait until that's finished. New prompts will play. Press 3 to report a problem, and viola a human will greet you. Every time I call it's just automated and it won't let me speak with an operator. I would just love to hear a real person tell me that we weren't forgotten about.

I just start pressing other options until I get a line that has customer service reps on it, but just because you get to one of those lines, doesn't mean you get to talk to someone. If the CS reps are busy, it tells you to call back later. If you get a CS rep on the line, they really don't tell you much. I haven't tried to get in touch with a "Tier 2" person yet. Hope that helps you a bit.

Like Olomi said, after u hear your updates press 3 to report a problem. Plus, I called in thru the Spanish line, so i had to wait only about 2 minutes to talk to someone

The waiting is the hard part, or the unknown during the waiting to be specific. Take peace that everyone here has gone or is going through the same thing.

Like you and me with receipt date of July 26th, 2011, there are close to 700 people with that receipt date. I had bee researching!

Currrently the trend for CSC is 146 days between NOA1 and NOA2. You can call USCIS and talk to them directly as-well. It may take a couple of calls to get an adequate answer. Ask to talk with a supervisor.

Good luck to you, and hang in there. Spending alot of time on VJ also helps being both informed and comforted. Your not alone.

That link is for K1 visas. The OP is requesting an IR-1/CR-1 visa.

Excluding expedite requests the current time between NOA1 and NOA2 at CSC is about 6.5 months. Based on historical trends this should improve over the next few months and drop to 5 months or less.
