Question about check for Adjust of Status

Hi everyone

I am applying for Adjustment of Status and I am going to send a Personal Check to pay the fee.

I know this may sound as a dumb question but What should i write on the check where it says MEMO or FOR (where I describe the purpose of the payment)

Should I write

I-485 Application or

I-485 Application and biometrics or somethings different?

Also I am going to make a check in the amount of $1070 for adjustment of status based on K-1 visa and I know i asked this before but i wanted to double check that $1070 is the right amount for the forms I am sending:

Form I-485+ biometrics

Form I-864- Affidavit of Support

Form G-325A-Biographic information

Form I-131- Application for Travel Document

From I-765- Application for Employment Authorization

The memo your reminder. They know what it's for. You don't have to fill it in. Make a copy before you mail it.

Payment for I-495 is what we wrote in our check

FYI, I sent two separate checks one for $985 for AOS and one for $85 for Biometrics. No need to write anything in the memo section but it certainly wouldn't hurt.

Your case number?? I tought they dont't give you a case number until after you send everything.. you mean your alien number??

That is correct they dont. There is a case number from the K1 but it would be relatively pointless now. I would use the A number personally. "I-485 fee - A#12345678"
