I had my interview last Nov. 28! We were approved! Thank you so much for all the help from wonderful people in this site, I just want to share my interview experience. This may be of help to those who are still in the process...I went early, my interview schedule is at 6:30am. Here are some of the questions that were asked by both the Filipino pre screener and the American consul.

1) My name/date of birth/age

2) Fiance's name/date of birth/age

3) When/where/how we met?

4) When did he start courting me?

5) How old is the relationship?

6) Ways of communicating (daily phone calls, chat, emails etc)

7) Work of my fiance- nature and employer)

8) How he secured his US Citizenship? (thru naturalization)

Don't forget to bring all the documents needed, pictures and review the checklist as listed in the eligibility letter!

Here are some additional questions of the American consul.

9) My current and previous work/profession

10) wedding plans (Date, place, reception, number of guest?

The consul didn't give me a hard time. As for the final interview to the American consul, it lasted around 5 minutes, way shorter than the first interview to the Filipino pre screener! Just answer confidently! I was just in tears when he said, YOUR VISA IS APPROVED! We cant be happier! Ill soon be reunited with my fiance.......

Thank you so much for all your help! You were right, even if he had listed dependents, the consul didn't ask any questions regarding that. As long as my fiance's income is way above 125% poverty line even if he had 3 dependents (nieces) making us a household of 5!
