nice samples =D

i guess i'll jot them down to drill the SO on sometimes

Every minute felt like an eternity time, clearly as if it had malicious intent, slowly ebbing away from me. I clenched my teeth, and keeping myself from crying was the only thing I could do…

Questions that I remembered from my interview that wasn't mentioned on the other post:

1. What is your fiance's job?

2. How long has he been in the company? (I answered an estimate)

3. In what website did you meet? (Since I mentioned that we met in a gaming website's forum)

4. How many times has he visited you?

5. Did he meet your family during his visit?

6. How did your family react to him?

Then some questions were based on the evidence I brought like the pics and e-mail printouts and chat logs. These were trivial questions and is more like just having a friendly conversation with the CO. This was after the "formal" questions.

1. (Pointing at my fiance's picture) Is he the lucky one?

2. Where was this picture taken?

3. (On the email printout) Who is kitten? (I explained that kitten is one of his terms of endearment for me because of our age gap)

Then right after those questions, the CO said "Well, he should be happy now that you're getting your Visa" and he congratulated me and said Best Wishes. :)

"... for our Love conquered both Time and Distance."

The interview is the easiest part of the entire visa process but, you should always be ready and be prepared for an "unexpected" question(s). :P

You'll be fine however if you are relax, confident and of course, answer the questions, truthfully.

Best of Luck!

You'll be fine however if you are relax, confident [...].
Not necessarily -- it depends very much on the consulate. The OP's profile says "Armenia"; if this isn't correct, please enter the correct information so that you can receive meaningful replies that pertain to the specific consulate.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Is it true that for the K-1 visa they also ask questions about the couple's intimacy?
They have, in Stokes interviews, which is why these are to be avoided. The best way is for the USC to be there at the FIRST interview.

Edited to add: See post #12 in this thread, active now, this forum:

?what kind of disability does he have(if you dont mind me asking)

the reason i ask is because I have arthritis (not completely crippling, but at times..) and my fiance(in Mexico) has eye-sight problems (desease, corneal dystrophy).

I was kind of concerned that the Visa people would look at our disabilities and see it as a reason for concern...

did yall every have issues with this? do you feel that the disability affected negatively at all yall's process to get the visa?

some stuff they asked me

Do you know his ex-wife?

Have you ever met her?

have you ever spoken to her?

Do you know why the marriage failed?

Do you like where he lives?

Are you prepared to live in that state?

etc.

Haha, no they don't ask about intimacy. It would be funny if they did.

Never rule out any questions. FYI, intimacy can be a topic in the interview.
