ok people , wut is the first thing that you do with your wife(or husband ) when they are here in the us ?. me , i am gona drive her around the area where i live . when i met my wife few years ago back in vietnam she is the one that drove me around on her scooter , then taught me how to ride scooter. then after that ill order fast foods like pizza so she know what it taste like. there are fastfood restaurants in vietnam yet most of them dont taste like the real stuff we have here in the us. post stuffs that you did , or plan to do with your spouse on here people , that will give me ideals of what to do to keep my wife happy and ease the culture shock that she will have to go through. i can not do guy stuffs like shooting , fishing , fix car , build a gaming pc or go out to bar for a drink with her since most women dont like stuff like that( and my old man told me to stay away from girls that like to do that stuff  ).

This is Funny. I stared at this Post 5 minutes and still don't know what to say? OK, now 10 minutes have past! :help: . I Give Up ! Well figure it out as a Couple day by day. I will help her adjust and I have to adjust as well. I honestly believe that Mav's biggest adjustment is not being near her family which she is so used too. She is used to Jeepneys, Tricycles, Markets, Kilo's and not Pounds for food. I will be there for her is all I know.

For me, all I want is to be close to my husband. So wherever he want to take me, or what he plan to do, as long as I can be with him and stay close to him, it would make me happy for sure :)

As I am the one going to there it is more of what is she going to do with me when I get there, at the moment the plan is to visit the Shedd Museum in Chicago, not a lot I will be up to doing, purely because I will be working up until about 2 hours before my flight, so I will probably be very tired for a few days so probably just a lot of resting and being together

funny she said those line all the time. we enjoy riding scooter out into the country side while i was in vietnam, can not ride scooter here because it not safe, unless one wanna get hit by a car . may be ill get a camper and go camping with her, and going ocean fishing since she like to go on boat ride. look like no shooting , ice fishing or skydiving for me in a while .

Tim, that was well said. Its hard to explain or tell what you will do once they are here. Their life style is so much different then ours. I know I will drive her around and introduce her to friends and family. Take her camping, (cause she has never been)in the mountains here in Oregon. Fishing, hiking, dirt bikes and more camping.
