Lock-Out - horrible movie. Bad acting, bad script, the story line was confusing, the action scenes were terrible. My husband wanted to stop watching early in the movie but I wanted to keep watching in hopes that it would get better :P Guy Pearce has done some good movies so I thought this one would be good.. Something Borrowed.

Lousy flick. Despicable characters. I love rom-coms but this one was rather meh.

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

The MIssing

Friday night I couldn't sleep, I was flipping channels and this happened to be on. I missed the beginning of it, when I turned to the channel the film was on, Kate Blanchett came home to her farm from some place only to find her SO (?) murdered and her oldest daughter kidnapped by Indians. Her, her other daughter and her estranged father (Tommy Lee Jones) go on a mission to follow the Indians and get her daughter back before they get to Mexico.

It was an OK movie. The Indians and the white people who associated with them were very cruel and vicious, especially the leader, some sort of shaman or something I believe. He was kinda scary.

I like both Kate Blanchett and Tommy Lee Jones, they were the major reasons (aside from my insomnia) I watched the movie. Don't know if it was so good that I would recommend it, but it wasn't bad either.
