It doesn't matter either feb or march P. Daters getting interview dates but VB will move not more then 85 days don't forget that all the LPR (green card holders) have to complete their 5 years and if they are getting interview dates but their cases will get in pending for AP.

This is not true 5 YEAR RULE. Correct me anyone

I have to not heard that people need to wait on green card LPR 5 years????

WHat about before RETROG.. i know some people that have interviews and approval. What was that??/

I dont think there is such a 5yrs rule! I know some people whose pd was in 2008/2009 who got their visa last yr before the retrogression and is already in the US now. The state department says that time period is depending on each personal cases and that they cant predit the exact waiting time.

yeah i know thats what i tought. Cause i know alot of people WHICH WERE F2A. Recived there visa before the retrogression and we all got left behind.

I guess back to topic..

This statement is not true at all. Different people face different situations and circumstances and it all depends on the visa bulletin. It took five years to get the F2a visa for my relative who filed in 2004. But one of my relative got in three years. Similarly, a person who filed in JULY 2008 had interview last december and is in America right now. I even know a person who filed in MAY 2010 and her interview was in DECEMBER 2010.

In short, what I want to say that time is not uniform. It all depends on the visa bulletins and speed of your case.

hello sir - just wanted to ask because as what ive seen in your timeline you have already paid the aos and everything? am i right? i receive an email from nvc telling me this.. how true is this?

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

does it mean you are going to repay everything again?

Jan-12,2011- received NOA1 (receipt no.)

May 12,2011 - received NOA2 (USCIS approval)

NVC (National Visa Center)Journey

May 25,2011 - sent email to NVC for Case Number

June 2,2011 - replied email - containing CASE NUMBER -

(starts with MNL.......)

june 16,2011 - receive the hard copy (stating the same message in the email) for case number

Nov. 18,2011 - receive AOS and COA via email

Nov. 19, 2011 - payed 88 dollars

Dec. 7, 2011 - AIVF received

Feb. 8, 2012 - Payed 404

Feb 17, 2012 - received cover letter

Feb 19, 2012 - Sent ds230 part 1 and 11, and supporting docs

Feb 22, 2012- received by NVC

Mar 4, 2012 - send and RFE then send them

Apr 1, 2012 - CASE COMPLETE!

Then the long wait starts here : PRIORITY DATE: Dec. 30,2010

(regularly checking VISA BULLETIN for updates)

I have told some other bangladeshi GC holder wife's and family has been getting AP for years and years. According to Bangladesh US embassy 3 out of 5 F2A cases get AP/AR. It is normal visa issuing procedure for F2A category. but, it is not sure that any 5 years time frame. I have read some F2A visa interview who got AP last year too. I dont know what others countries review

12-28-2012: NOA RECEIVED

01-08-2013: BIO-METRIC COMPLETED
