I'm sure July vb will jump in to 2008...

The last I heard of interview schedule date is of someone from philipines with pd 04 march 2008..

So I guess pd will have 8 march 2008 in the july vb..

Hope my guess is rt.. Or atleast close..

Since this is the last quarter of the year I guess PDs will move forward like crazy to fill in all the allotted qouta for f2A.

hey our case was completed on 28 october 2010. But how can we get an interview for july?

If I were in your situation with PD is 25 march 2008 and cutoff 22MAR08 currently,

I'd contact NVC and ask if they have any interview date set for me.

I think Miami_Boy got his that way.

Do whatever you can to get the interview done in case of retrogression.

That's just my own opinion, so use your own judgement. Good Luck!

What do u mean stuck? Isn't your pd close to 22MAR08?

MY pd is 08 april. I just called NVC and they said blah blah we r giving visa to AUGUST 07 FILED BEFORE. That means they have not updated with the new vb.

You all think when i will get a interview? Since it is only like 2 week ahead the VB??? Any thoughts

Soon I seen this Visa Bulletin, I called NVC and guess what..nice lady told me that get the piece of paper write down July 24th, 2011 at 9am.....visa interview....:dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

She also said i might get an interview email within 48 hours.....Thanks visa journey...............I love my wife....

May 12,2011 - received NOA2 (USCIS approval)

NVC (National Visa Center)Journey

May 25,2011 - sent email to NVC for Case Number

June 2,2011 - replied email - containing CASE NUMBER -

(starts with MNL.......)

june 16,2011 - receive the hard copy (stating the same message in the email) for case number

Nov. 18,2011 - receive AOS and COA via email

Nov. 19, 2011 - payed 88 dollars

Dec. 7, 2011 - AIVF received

Feb. 8, 2012 - Payed 404

Feb 17, 2012 - received cover letter

Feb 19, 2012 - Sent ds230 part 1 and 11, and supporting docs

Feb 22, 2012- received by NVC

Mar 4, 2012 - send and RFE then send them

Mahrukh i saw ur timeline in ur signature and ur case is already complete 04-11-11.

does that mean even though priority date is not current but still NVC works on our cases? because i was thinking that they will not do anything at all until priority date becomes current. in ur case even thoough priority date was not current but still NVC worked on ur case and its already completed. now u just have to wait for the interview date and u will get it when priority date will become current.

can you please explain it to me that how it works so i can better understand the process.

Yes my priority date was not current but right after the approval of my case from USCIS California Service Center my case was sent to NVC. NVC started my consular processing by sending the CHOICE of Agent form to the petitioner. Actually NVC starts your consular processing when they think that a visa is likely to be available within 9 months. But this does not mean that a visa will definitely be available within nine months, remember the word 'LIKELY'. The time can be increased or can be shortened too. On the other hand, if NVC reviews your case and they think that a visa will not be available within 9 months or so, they issue you a letter stating that we do not have visas right now as soon as your PD becomes current or close to be current we'll start with your consular processing. I hope that clears you.

Best Wishes to All who got their interviews and who are close to have interviews. My prediction is again wrong. LOL! but this time I am really happy even if I had the wrong prediction!! Please keep praying for 2010 PDs :)
