who else is refreshing the VB page every 20 mins?

I do and am using my itouch which is quicker to navigate. VJ is also faster to know the release of the VB, thanks. My daughter's PD is 18Dec2008.

There is no rule of 1, 2, 5 or any years for F2A & F2B preferences. Instead, the general rule to all F's is the more cases exist (the more “queuers”), the longer the waiting period. Go to http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html , click on Operation of the Numerical Control Process you will see how the VB is set each month.

Besides "the 5-year" rule, many people, even those living in America, insist on another wrong idea that an LPR cannot bring spouse and/or child/ren to the USA unless he/she becomes US citizen and gets the case upgraded to CR1/IR1. That’s not true. Section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) sets an annual minimum family-sponsored preference limit of 226,000 of which 114,200 visas are for F2 (A&B) each year. Where there is a visa available for you, when it's your turn, AND your case has been completed, you'll get the expected interview letter and go go go for the final process. The law does not require LPRs to become US citizens to have their files effected.

hello sir - just wanted to ask because as what ive seen in your timeline you have already paid the aos and everything? am i right? i receive an email from nvc telling me this.. how true is this?

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

does it mean you are going to repay everything again?

Yes I have also received this email. The NVC may ask for the latest documents for example income tax return etc later but the fees is not repaid. This happens when NVC asks something from you and you do not reply them within a year only then your fees will be repaid again. You get this section of email when NVC is asking for something like supporting documents, forms etc. Once your case is documentarily qualified, your case will be placed in the list of documentarily qualified cases and you just wait for the PD to get current. I hope you get the idea.

So just follow the instructions from NVC and reply them as quickly as possible. Good Luck on your case.

Mahrukh i saw ur timeline in ur signature and ur case is already complete 04-11-11.

does that mean even though priority date is not current but still NVC works on our cases? because i was thinking that they will not do anything at all until priority date becomes current. in ur case even thoough priority date was not current but still NVC worked on ur case and its already completed. now u just have to wait for the interview date and u will get it when priority date will become current.

can you please explain it to me that how it works so i can better understand the process.

I'm sure July vb will jump in to 2008...

The last I heard of interview schedule date is of someone from philipines with pd 04 march 2008..

So I guess pd will have 8 march 2008 in the july vb..

Hope my guess is rt.. Or atleast close..

Since this is the last quarter of the year I guess PDs will move forward like crazy to fill in all the allotted qouta for f2A.

Good luck every one.we all definitely need some rapid VB movement..
