Hello all,

I try to find information to apply 10 year green card for my wife.

What form I need to fill out? Is it I-751?

We use to live in TX but now we moved to GA for 1 year. When we move to GA I did file the address change for my wife but not for me. Do I need to file the address change for me this time? I-865?

Please reply and help me out.

Thanks

I think it is better to file a Change of Address for you as well because you are financially responsible for your wife.

Also I asked the question about Removal of Condition not too long ago and you can see this thread to get more info

Yep! It's I-751. And for your convenience, here is a link to the forum all about removing conditions

you can change your address AR-11 online or call the 1-800-375-5283, the form 1-865 he has to mail it.you file the 1-751 to remove conditions on your permanent resident card look at the expired date on the card, now count backwards 90 days that the date when you can send your 1-751 and not before .and if your approved then you will get a 10 year green card,

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have another question. On Form I-865

on part "Effective Date of Change of Ađdress" which day should I use? I moved back to GA on 01/26/2010. Should I use that date? or just use current day?

Like all of your said. we can only file I-751 90 days before the 2 year Green Card expires (07/28/2011), So I should wait till my daughter born, which is sometime in April. So I can include her in it.

Thanks

You had 30 days to change your address. You are in breach of the terms just so you know. It's unlikely you'll get into trouble but you should have filed an I-865 MONTHS ago.

And yes, I-751 for ROC

Just put the real date. I filed mine very late using the actual move date. Never had a problem.

You can file no earlier than April 29, 2011. Sending in the petition earlier will cause it to be returned to you.

I've moved this thread from the AOS forum to the Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion Forum as a more appropriate location for the discussion

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
