It's normal. You will get a third email that says "we mailed you a notice" in a few days. Don't worry. :)

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I have a related question. Do you have to sign up somewhere for email updates? I just checked the USCIS website and my case status was just changed to "Card/Document Production". But I did not receive any emails, and have never received any emails providing updates. How does this work? Thanks!

Also, what does "touch" in everyone's timelines mean?

Yes you do need to sign up for updates. Log-in and on the main page where all your cases are listed are some buttons that say "email on" etc. Select the cases you want email updates for and then click "email on" and you'll see the email alert column has changed to Y's instead of N's.

Touch means when you're on the main screen, the "last updated" date has changed since you saw it last. It means your file was "touched" in some way. Whether that means moved desks, or the boxes reorganised or something sent.
