When you log on to the USCIS site, click on Check your case status. Instead of entering your case #, change the last 4 numbers to previous numbers and it will give you someone else's status that has filed before you. It will give you an idea of what dates they are working on.

Got my NOA2 today!! I didn't even think it would have came on saturday, just thought "well i will just check for the heck of it". Nice suprice!!

And i was also signed up for the email notifications, didn't get one.

Maybe we all will get to go home soon! Save and quick jorney to everyone and the ones of you who are still waiting: It's gona come soon, just patience!

LOL...I have been obsessing. I have this burning need to find out how they go about processing. I only went through the receipt#'s at VCS...It doesn't make much sense as to why some feb filers have NOA2 when some late Jan filers haven't even been looked at yet. They also don't go in order by# as some of you probably figured out, but they do generally go by date. VSC was definitly issuing NOA2 for many feb.3 filers last week. It looks like files are batched together in groups of 15-20. My NOA1 is Feb.21...I couldn't believe how many cases are pending at VSC with same date as mine(about 400 more to go not including ones pending RFE's). Lots of feb 21 filers already have NOA2 though...guessing they were pulled for expedite. If VSC is receiving 500+ I-130's per day, I wonder how long it takes them to finish a whole days worth of petitions?? That's like over 15,000 petitions/month!!! not to mention all the other types of visa apps they get...and that's just 1 service center! No wonder it takes so long to get approval...I am stunned.

02/28/2011 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
06/16/2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)

NOA2 to NVC (32 days to get Case number)
NVC: (28 days)
07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
08/02/2011 - DS-3032 received by NVC.
08/03/2011 - IV Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
08/04/2011 - IV Fee Bill invoice shows "PAID" and DS-230 package mailed to NVC.

Sent opt-in request on Friday, 27th....filled out DS260 online on Saturday the 28th.....re3ceived opt-in for electronic processing today.....now things are moving like they should....keeping fingers crossed!! Good luck to everyone else for a speedy process!!
