I was estimating more End of July. In the mean time I am gathering my tax transcripts, having my husband get the required vaccinations for the medical and I am prefilling out all his employement history, school history, and all the places/dates of the places he has lived since age 16. I will be going up to Canada in a few weeks for a weekend visit and I want to have all this filed out to bring back with me. I will also have my husband get his Police Clearance Certificate next month knowing we may have to order it again but hoping not. Good Luck Everyone

Not everyone has a compelling enough reason to expedite. It's usually for severe medical reason, severe humanitarian reason, or something else I'm blanking out on. OH, possibly severe financial hardship, I think. I'm sure there's a form to fill out, but as I don't have a reason to expedite, I haven't bothered to do my research on it.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Greetings,

My husband and I were married in December of 2010, and our filing date is Feb. 24, 2011. We have already received our NOA1 and are anxiously awaiting the NOA2. On our letter it stated that the case was being transferred to the California Service Center. It just seems like this take forever to complete!!

Greetings Feb Filers :innocent:

We are also Feb filers! We sent out our I-130 on Feb 7 and NOA1 hardcopy on Feb 14 (a sweet valentines' day gift) :luv: Now the waiting game begins!

Either way, here's hoping for a reasonably speedy process for all of us! :star:

Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone,

I also filed I-130 in feb and my priority date is 28feb. But I filed as a Green card holder and at the same time I applied for my citizenship... I am already done with citizen interview last week and now waiting for the oath letter. Now I guess after getting my citizen certificate, I have to upgrade my I-130 petition. Question - Is my priority date going to be same which is 28Feb?

Regards,

Jay Singh
