You would have to give them a call when it gets to 5 months. You can as well get your representative(s) involved.

Your timeline prediction is based on other people filling out their timeline accurately. As more people fill in the their timeline, your prediction will become more accurate. So if says you'll get your approval in 6 weeks later, it basically means you will get your approval a bit later. If your actual application is beyond 5 months, you need to call your senator's office. Ask to speak to the immigration liaison (who make sure is not an intern.) Then ask her (usually a her for some reason) that you filed with USCIS and it's beyond 5 months. Then ask her to have the Senator contact USCIS. She will probably ask you to fill out a privacy release form and give her a copy of your USCIS receipt letter. You can take this stuff in person but who does that in this day and age. Ask her that you want to email it. So good luck.

Sorry, this is a 'moving target' until

YOU GET YOURS.

When you GET YOURS - the arrow is in the center of the target..

Good Luck, and God Speed !

Sorry bro. But patience is the name of this game. Some of us are extremely lucky to get through the ordeal in one year. Many like LPR have to wait years. Be patient and keep your hopes.

the target moves because of two things:

1. people here at VJ putting in their data as they get it and

2. people here at VJ never putting in their data.

The target is a running approximation of when you might get yours.

The approximation changes based on those 2 things I listed.

You can blame folks like me and 35,000 others who filed in July but aren't approved yet. Now that we're getting approved, it's going to throw the timeline back several weeks if not a month or two.

It moved from 1st week of March to the last week of April.. Not sure how flexible this is but almost 6 weeks difference.

07-20-2010 NOA1
