Many people. You could be waiting years for your priority date.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Right. The OP's post indicates he is not a US Citizen, so this is not a CR1 or IR1 visa case. Best to check in the India Regional forum or Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America

your case has to be current before you will get an interview so if your priority date is AFTER January 1, 2008 then all you can do is to wait. March bulletin may bring some joy.

few others in your situation. read below at the link,

***** Moving from CR-1/ IR-1 to r Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America *****

They are working on January 2008 for your country right now, so it will take about three years from when you applied to start processing, then a couple of months until interview.

Tenzin: What is your priority date? i.e. when you first submitted the I-130?

That will impact when you are called for interview. I dont see why anyone is guessing 3 years? If you prioroty date in in 2008 I'd guess you should get an interview call within the next 6 months

The fact that you are applying for an F2A visa tells us that you are a Green Card holder. You can speed your case up by becoming a US citizen. Since when are you a resident and, since India does not allow dual citizenship (only OCI), do you intend on becoming a US citizen at all?

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Still 2 more years to become US Citizen.

I know my priority date is very far from Feb Visa Bulletin but in upcoming month it may change to 2010? The Retrogression start because there is high number applicant in end of 2010. I think thatswhy they hold it right?

Will i get appionment date after 3motnhs?
