Had car crash this morning

Could not believe it, was on my way into work this morning, in fact I was only about 300 yards from where I turn to go into our car park and a women pulled out of the turning before mine, right in front of me !!!BANG !!

I hit the brakes so hard but still hit her, what an idiot, it is a good job that a young man was walking down the road and witnessed it all. Shaken up but OK apart from the classic signs of Whiplash "again" I know them all too well now.

I am just so glad that I had a witness because when he asked the other driver why they had done what they did the reply was " well she was indicating left when she came off the roundabout" Well that is what we have to do but then as soon as I had exited the roundabout I knocked the indicators off and was on the straight, and she sat and watched me approach and THEN pulled out, how stupid can you be.!!!

Feel shaky but otherwise OK but now I have to go hire a car to get me into work all week while the garage repairs all the damage to mine. :crying:

I had just got myself back on the right track since I was so down last week over this process and now this, still, it could have been worse, at least I am OK :thumbs:

[The reason god put spaces in between your fingers was so another person's hands could fill it up.

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

Oh so sorry to hear this happened, I know the feeling oh so well...I got in an accident in Nov on the way home from work....It sucks and on top of the stress from this process, i know you must be a stressing....Keep your head up and I hope you dont get too much whiplash pain...Good luck and God bless

Accidents are no fun. Glad to hear your ok

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
