FIRST, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE APPROVED FRIENDS.

Ok to begin, I am june filer and my case was transferred from CSC to TSC on 1st Nov. It again got transferred to unknown USCIS office on 24th Nov, 2010. I just spoke to USCIS customer care and tried to find where exactly my case has been transferred and what's basically going on. The representice told me my case is transferred to local USCIS office.

Also the 5 months normal processing time is now 160 days period (what a !@#$%^&*!@#$%^&*)

I can not initiate service request nor I can speak to tier 2 person before that.

Until yesterday my case was just at at end of normal processing time and now they told that Normal Processing Time is continously changing day by day.

I think all July filers are in the same boat and they are messed up the same way I am.

Guys, please give your inputs what can be done ? What is going on ? Are we ever going to stop getting transferred and get approved ? Is it fair ppolicy to give approval to July end filers and just transfer cases of June and July starting filers ?

WHAT A HAPPY THANKS GIVING WE GOT FROM USCIS.

I feel your frustration!! I got transferred from TSC to an unknown "USCIS Office" on 11/10. From what you are saying, I guess my case was transferred to Las Vegas for adjudication. My last touch was on 11/24. I certainly hope the 160 days is from the ORIGINAL receipt notice from CSC, and not from when it was transferred!!! At any rate, I am well within the "original" 5 month time frame, but not knowing what is going on makes the waiting just that much harder for me. Oh well, I suppose we have no choice except to WAIT until USCIS makes some kind of decision (either approved, RFE or interview at the local office). Still trying to keep a positive attitude, but it is getting much harder to maintain any optimism.

My case was transferred as well from Texas to unknown but the way it was worded to me it sounded like it meant that our case was now being processed as in we should be getting our decisions soon.

We got through to a Tier 2 person, who assured us that the transfer to TSC and onwards is very GOOD news. He was very sympathetic and honest.

He said that CSC were backlogged, and this is why the cases were transferred. In his words, the transfer would appear to slow things down initially, but would be much to our benefit later.

Keep the faith, I think the next two weeks will be good for all of us!kicking.gif

It is definitely the move to TSC which has made everyone of us antsy and jumpy. We're a good month away from our 5 months personally, and no doubt, if we were still at CSC, we'd be much less anxious. The fact is, the transfer has made the negative & the positive carrot within reach, so we're much more "on edge" than we would be normally. Keep positive, keep calm and carry on! (As they say!)

Late December approvals could be a great Xmas gift well worth the wait.

As many people that have been touched since November 10th have shown

and increase in work at the TSC center. So count the days less than 30 to 45

days can't be that bad. Just think by Christams than to begin the count from

NOA-2 to interview the longer wait, depending on your countries Embassy 's

back up log also. What a great way to start out the year. Almost there an done.

So you think it's meaningful to report what you were told by an operator at the USCIS misinformation line. How novel. :bonk: Your case is in Mesquite, Texas, not some local USCIS office. You've misinterpreted a notice sent by an idiot who selected the wrong boilerplate for the notification.

I don't understand that if they are so "backlogged" why are a TON of August and September filers already getting their NOA2's?

I figure it's because if they work on June/July petitions first, june and july filers will be late, as will August/September. So their thinking was just to make June/July filers REALLY late and August/September filers early.

I get frustrated thinking that I worked very hard to get my I130 sent off quickly but in reality if I would have put my package together at a leisurely pace and sent it out in August/September I would be getting my NOA2 already!

Just venting my frustration. I do think all of the June & July filers should have their NOA2's by the holidays
