October 2010 CSC filers!

Hello!

We mailed ours on 10/22. I received the email and text on 10/29 and our check was cashed on 11/1. Unfortunately, it isn't showing up on their website. I've been told that many people never have theirs show up until it's been accepted. I wonder if it's the California Service Center in particular that has this happen.

Here's wishing everyone luck on a fast and smooth and process! I'm hoping for a July 1st POE, anyone else have a date they are hoping for? Hard to plan anything without knowing when.

My finace filed October 29 2010 and we're now waiting for the confirmation message from them. I'm a very patient person but this one seems to be the longest wait I'll be having in my entire life and its starting to drive me crazy. LOL I constantly check my fiance's e-mail and always ask him if he gets the text message.. I think I need a chill pill. Anyway I'm glad it's filed and we're praying for the speedy journey but if not we dont have choice but to wait. Good luck to all of us! (L)

In my delusional mind, I was hoping for a Feb 1st POE - this was before I joined VJ. Way to kill my dream. haha. Anyway, I'm still hoping by some miracle CSC goes turbo and shoots up with some NOS. Fingers crossed! VJ is giving me a projected NOA2 date of mid Feb - so April-ish is a more realistic goal. I hear Sydney is pretty good at assigning interviews so toes crossed too!

Haha yeah I originally thought I'd have POE by March. I'm really hoping to get my NOA2 by Feb and then POE May/June. But I guess we'll see! I've been doing surprisingly well. After the first few weeks of sending off my package, I haven't been on VJ nearly as often. And there's been a few days I've even forgotten to check my case status! I guess thats what happens when im super busy. I don't even have time to think about it most days. This is one of the first times I've been happy about the weeks flying by!

November 9, 2010 touched and finally in the system!!! I can now track it

you can sign up for updates that will tell you whether you have been 'touched' here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp .

The email updates let you know if a major change happens....like if you're approved. Unfortunately, they don't email you about "touches" (Sad I know!).

If you make an account on USCIS.gov and add your petition, then theres a little box that says when your petition was last updated. If it's a later date than you've previously seen, then you know it's been "touched". I've been touched twice...SO EXCITING....but nothing else in the last month.

My targeted date from VJ is mid to late March. That's why I picked July 1st. Figured i won't be disappointed if I get my heart set on a date several months later than projected.

I wish :/. Been about 3 months for me since I last saw my fiancee. Saving up leave for her interview (will take Leave w/o Pay to wait for her visa to arrive in the mail) and wedding date etc so....it's hard after getting used to going down several times a year hehe.

Just take it day by day and know each day is one day closer to the rest of your life. This wait is a very small fraction of the rest of your lives together.

I feel you! It's also been since Sept I saw my fiance. But hey - short term pain for long term gain! A month and a half into the process and not getting easier.
