Oct. 19, 2010: Sent I-129F packet

Oct. 25, 2010: NOA1

Nov. 05, 2010: Touched

Mar. 01, 2011: Went to Malaysia to be with my fiancé

Mar. 30, 2011: NOA2!

Apr. 08, 2011: Case left NVC

Apr. 12, 2011: Case received by embassy in KL

Apr. 19, 2011: Received Packet 3

May 04, 2011: Received Packet 4

May 06, 2011: Medical examination

May 26, 2011: Interview

RESULT: Administrative Processing

Jun. 18, 2011: Visa received

POE: June 27 @ San Francisco, CA

Also, I had my medical done today - doctor said you don't even need a case number. Got my Police Certificate too, now all I need is NOA2! ha!

Wow medical already, that is good!

I am flying to my fiance's country of residence on March 1st so I can go to the medical and interview with him. :) I am predicting AP for us so I'll just there for an extended time if that happens. Finally glad I have something to look forward to :)

I'm going broke but I plan to visit for our interview. I hope it will be 1 to 1.5 months from now.

I was in Tokyo for last new year so I'm grateful that I can visit Japan as often as I have. :blush:

But hey, they said they are moving some back! At least they know about a lot of petitions being beyond processing time, and they are hopefully going to fix that real soon!

I'm glad I am finally hitting the point when I feel excited and not sad when I see people posting that they received NOA2. I feel like every person who receives one opens up a spot for my petition to be looked at. :)

Just curious on your medical...is there a checklist or form that the MD needs to sign? If so, where did you find it!?!? Thanks!!

Did they only transfer petitions that were filed in November?

I'm confused. It says "We encourage you to monitor the progress of your case by accessing My Case Status online. If you do not see any action on your case, such as an approval, denial or an RFE, by March 1, 2011 you may contact USCIS at: I-130Inquiries.Tsc@dhs.gov". So anyone that hasn't had their NOA2 by March is supposed to contact them? My 5 months is up on March 10th....do I get to call before then?

June 7, 2010 - Will asked me to marry him, and I said YES!!
October 4, 2010 - Will sent away the I-129F Petition
October 12, 2010 - NOA1 received!
October 15, 2010 - First "touch"
October 18, 2010 - Second "touch"
March 7, 2011 - NOA2!!!
March 18, 2011 - NVC forwarded our case to the Montreal Consulate....NOT where we wanted it to go!
March 25, 2011 - Email from Montreal saying that our case would be forwarded to Vancouver - only took one night for a reply from them smile.png

In November of 2010 there were a bunch of I-130 petitions that were transferred from CSC to TSC in a failed attempt to process them faster because CSC was backed up. TSC never had the manpower and expertise to process these petitions. USCIS has finally seen the error of their way and is transferring many of these back to CSC for immediate adjudication.

The part of that you quoted basically says that if your petition was transferred back to CSC and you have not received an approval, denial or RFE by March 1, contact them at the email address provided.

This has nothing to do with those of us that sent our petitions to USCIS in October, November, December and January. It is only for those who got screwed in the CSC to TSC transfer.

It may or may not affect us October to January filers in that since they are devoting some time to expedite the files that were transferred back to CSC our petitions might be slightly delayed. I am ok with this slight delay because the transferred filers should have already been approved, declined or RFE'd.

We should be seeing our adjudication very soon so hang in there. Our turn will come.

You can still call USCIS when your 5 months is up. They will most likely tell you that they are working on petitions from July or August and to call back in 30 days. After you are over the 5 month mark you can also contact your Senator or Congress Person. This may or may not help.

Hi Alex & Stacee,

The doctor provided all forms. He handed me a form that he, the nurse who took my blood and radiologist HAD to sign - I was instructed to take this to my interview.

He did have a checklist that asked basic medical questions/history. I'll see what's in the packet I receive from the doctor's office next week. I'm sure you can find that particular form online.
