Guys, the issue is about the process or wait not about each other. Ricardo4eva can relate and pass on some knowledge because he has been through the process and is still going through the process for more than one person. It's not about what type of visa in this case because he has been waiting just like the rest of us. Ygr is venting because of the uncertainties at the CSC. That's enough to drive anyone to the point of no return. Let's not turn on one another. This is a community meant to help and share experiences. :ot2:

Great suggestion, candn. The wait is difficult enough as it is. It would be a shame for every thread about CSC to turn into a competition of "I've waited longer/my situation is worse/no one can possibly understand how I feel because other people have gotten their approvals faster".. that would turn a lot of people off VJ. We should all be able to rant without putting other people down. Just my two cents.

Today is a new day, and we can hope for some turn around.

Shoot. Edited because I replied to the wrong post. On the positive side, I finally learned how to edit!!

Ours is going on six months now and hasn't even been touched. I called the other day and the person I spoke to said that five months is just an estimate and they're still processing files from March (we filed in April). He said if we don't hear anything in 30 days or so to call back. He was helpful and I was happy to actually speak to someone. We knew we were going to have to wait and be patient when this started, but now that five months has passed it's getting harder, and we need to see that NOA2 to know that our case is moving......

Looking at Igor's List, you can see most of the people who got NOA2s recently were within 5 months. Hopefully those of you near the 5 month mark now hear something soon.

Bottom line is...let's just be happy the number didn't change!!

No, they didn't. I miss my husband. I haven't see him in almost a year and I can't afford nor can I take the time off work right now to go there to see him. "sigh"

Based on VJ reports, CSC appears to have approved an I-129F (NOA2) on 10-14-10!!! And the original NOA1 was from June, which means it is not just an old application finally getting approved:

Keep 'em coming, CSC!

LisaMarie - I know exactly how you feel. I have not seen my husband since February of this year. It is torture having to wait through all of these different stages in the immigration process. Sometimes, I wish I just stayed in the UK with my husband, and told my mother to find someone else to care for my elderly grandmother. Not that I don't love her, but being apart from my husband makes me feel very incomplete.

At least you've had time to be with him. I'm not trying to diminish your wait, it's awful for everyone regardless of situation (and I can't imagine going that long between visits), I'm just relating in that my fiance and I have never had longer than a month together ever. It's been a week here and a week there every three months or so for nearly a year. We haven't had the chance to be together in a real way and it's beyond frustrating. I just want this part to be over. I think I could even deal with the embassy wait stage without much discomfort, it's just this ridiculous NoA2 thing I can't handle. To not even know where you are in line after months of waiting without an update is cruel and unusual punishment.
