Yeah, I just saw that they updated the date on my application yesterday too. These date updates don't indicate what they did though but it seems like they've updated the date every day since I received the email/text notification.

I wish they had the date on the 'check case status' thing instead of just if you create an account.

Jan-2009 - Met online

Mar-2009 - Became a couple

Sep-2009 - Met in person (2 weeks in Jakarta)

Jan-2010 - Denied B1 visa

Mar-2010 - Engaged

Oct-2010 - Married

Nov-2010 - Filed I-130

LOL That's what I was thinking that exact same thing too. Even though I signed up for the email/text alerts, I have still checked every day. I really wish I could conjure up a good reason to submit an expedite request, not sure how to fit that into the analogy though. haha

I see some short times (<1 week) in people's timelines for the NOA1. I am guessing they are using the email/text notification for that. I am waiting to put a date in for when I receive the physical paper in the mail. I'm not sure if the week difference has much effect on the time estimates or not though. They should add a line for the email/text notification to clear that up maybe?

Plane tickets. Now heres a problem. I have visited him 4 times and he has visited me once. We only have 2 of my plane tickets (in the form of confirmation emails) and cannot for the life of me find any proof of the other two or his. Will the stamps in our passports suffice?

I had the same problem, but I figured out a workaround. I logged onto the websites (Orbitz, CheapoAir, Delta) where I bought the tickets and was able to find all the past tickets. From there I printed the tickets. So, even though I no longer had some of the eTickets in my email, I still was able to get the information.

11/07/2010: NOA1, Priority Date

11/09/2010: Touched

11/16/2010: I-797C, Notice of Action received

03/15/2011: Touched

04/10/2011: Sent email to my Democrat congressman
