Consulate Review: Bucharest, Romania
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 20, 2011
Embassy Review : The appointment was at 13.00 and my wife and I went there at 12.45. We and few others family get in and have started the interview with the following:
1. Was called to give them passport, and proves of our ongoing relation window 5
2. Called to fingerprint window 7
3. Called for the interview at window 6 with the consul
4. Questions asked: When did you met? How did you met, Where will you live ? Do you plan to have children? That was all and we were approved at 14.15
5. Called back to window 5 to have back our documents.
6. At 14.35 we were called to get the passport since we have waited to be printed the visa.
Please take care about your fingerprints because you are not allowed to have wound on your fingers.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
