I am finally ready and about to send my K-1 Petition Packet. I am so nervous. I've triple checked everything but I am still afraid I am forgetting something. Here is what I have:

- Cover letter with table of contents, signed and dated

- Payment - check for $455

- Form G-1145

- Form I-129F, signed and dated

- Supplement question to I-129F Q 18, have we met in the past two years. I give a list of our ten meetings in the last few years and explain I have been in Mexico on an extended visit since June (I didn't say I am living here - I technically am not b/c I am just on a tourist visa. I didn't want to confuse things too much)

- Copy, front and back, of my US birth certificate

- Form G325 A filled in for me (petitioner) with my passport photo, signed and dated

- Form G325 A filled in for fiance (beneficiary) with his passport photo, signed and dated

- Letter of intent to marry (one for me, and one for fiance) each signed and dated

- Photos of the two of us during various meetings (About 10 photos)

- Proof of meeting. I separated out the proof from our most recent meetings (June and Feb of 2010) and put the most detailed information for that - passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts, etc. Then for our earlier meetings from 2007-2009, I just put in one or two things from a few of the trips in those years (not every one because I did not save from everyone, but a boarding pass from a trip here, an itinerary or receipt from another trip).

- Proof of ongoing relationship: Half a dozen e-mails from the last two years and 3-4 recent Skype records and some older phone records I had. It is kind of spread out (some stuff from 2008 and then stuff from 2010 but not a lot in between, because I thought I was going to file a lot earlier than I did so I stopped saving for awhile). I hope it doesn't look weird. I know I didn't have to put that stuff now but wanted to front load.

Does it sound like I am missing anything or does it seem like I am all set? I am sooo excited but nervous and scared I missed something and I don't want an RFE! My biggest concern is that my fiance's address on the 129F is different from his current address on the G325A, because we want all the via stuff to go to his parents house which is why we listed their address on the 129F. This shouldn't be a problem, should it? We also don't have street numbers for two of his past residences...but we do for all others...I hope this isn't a problem.

Thanks for all your support everyone...I know this journey is just beginning!

birth certificate of your fiance and 2x2 passport picture (both of u)

I need my fiance's birth certificate at this stage in the game (for the K-1 petition)??? I thought that wasn't until the interview.

I didn't see anywhere in the I-129F instructions about sending the fiance's birth certificate. Could you please tell me where it says this?

A colored copy of your passport is required? I didn`t see where it stated a "color" copy. I thought black and white copies were acceptable ?

honey17 is incorrect with their information. A colored copy is NOT required.

OP, your BC copy is your proof of identity. If you didn't already have that you could copy all pages of your passport as proof. Your checklist looks good to me.

Your checklist in your first post looks good. If you are concerned about the differences in addresses, you can mention it in your cover letter as a way of covering all your bases.

As far as your passport goes, you only need to submit the pages with the stamps. You don't need to copy the data page or anything else there because you are submitting your birth certificate.

I'll restate what Gingerpants already told you, your fiance's birth certificate is not needed until the interview.

Good luck on your journey and best wishes to the both of you!

Thanks! I think we have a pretty cut and dry case. Both in our late twenties, never married before, both working professionals, have known each other for over ten years (first met when I was on an exchange program in Mexico) and we have had around ten visits back and forth since we became romantically involved three years ago. I am HOPING this all goes smoothly! I will definitely be around VJ for awhile...this place has been a Godsend. Thank you everyone for your help and advice.

For safe play. Attach ur completed copy of ur passport pages besides the copy of Birth Certificate as a proof of ur identity. I ever read a member got RFE about it. Good luck.
