If you sent your RFE response back to them end of Feb/early March, you could probably expect a response real soon! Just wait, it'll be here soon! :)

ahh. totally freaking out (in a good way) right now. Found out that my fiance's interview is on monday! we are not entirely ready, but we're going to get everything together ASAP so that we dont have to postpone.

I hope we can do it!

9/24- I-129F received by CSC

9/27 NOA1 received in mail

9/28- Check Cashed

10/1- touched

2/23- RFE email

2/28- RFE hardcopy

3/7- NOA2!!!!!

3/28- Interview! APPROVED!

4/7 - Jimmy arrives in the USA!

I feel lik helpless :(RFE replied February 26 online update 1 march 2011 since then no update. I involved my congressman as well meanwhile but they said i should expect to receive an approval in 30 days. I am very upset i have provided all the stuff with RFE but still i am affraid of denial regardless of the fact that my case is 100% genuine with documentary evience.

Hang in there - stay positive. My heart goes out to you and we all support you!!! I know how much it hurts during the waiting process before the noa2. I had MANY breakdowns - its the hardest kind of visa.

200 days in today since NOA1. No word from VSC since they cashed my check in October. September 2 filer. Sigh

Served in Peace Corps in Mongolia as a volunteer English teacher May 2008- July 2010.

August 2009 - Met Khandaa

June 2010 - Proposed

July 2010 - Returned from Mongolia

August 28, 2010 - Applied to VSC K1 129-F

September 2, 2010 - NOA1 Received

October 7, 2010 - check cashed

NO WORD FROM VSC - MANY ATTEMPTS TO GATHER MORE INFORMATION

March 16, 2011 - Finally allowed to submit service requestt - (told to wait 30 days for reply)

March 28, 2011 - Service Request Denied. They have an incorrect filing date in their system (10.01.10). Searching for a way to rectify this.

I wonder what's up with the Service Centers lately. Are they just processing the backlog of TPS petitions? I'm just curious where all their attention is going to.

I'm still waiting for my NOA2...

We got a RFE on the 28 feb, and we mailed our package on the 1st march and since then no news.

My fiance did the mistake to send that package in basic mail so we don't even know where it is at and since the deadline of our RFE is this week, we decided to send it all again by overnight mail.

According to the tracking number they received it and signed for it yesterday, but still no email stating they received it.

I'm overtly stressed, I'm so scared that they ask us to start over or something.

Since our first package got lost with the RFE paper inside, we sent our second package with our case number but without the RFE page (since we didn't do a copy of it).

We sure messed up on that one :bonk: , but at least we know for next time to ALWAYS choose overnight mail.

I wonder do they send you the reception email like the day after they receive the package?

And aren't they supposed to approve you (or deny you, but I hope not) before or at least on the day of your deadline?

Congrats!!!! it always seems like just when we are ready to give up - THEN it happens. Rachel MArie and I had the same thing! The day we couldn't take it anymore BOOM finally it came! so happy for ya!

11-04-2011 sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

11-07-2011 delivered

11-08-2011 Date on text messages but did not receive until 11-22-2011

11-23-2011 Check cashed.

11-25-2011 Hard copies of NOA1s

12-06-2012 Pui's Brother unexpectly passes away and we make an info pass appointment and receive an emergancy AP so she can return home. Pui leaves for Thailand for 2 weeks.

12-06-2012 Get a text message and email that she received an RFE

12-12-2012 RFE for original birth certificate. I swear we sent it along with a certificate translation of it.

12-20-2012 Pui returns from Thailand.

12-21-2012 We send the RFE back for with original birth certificate along with a new certificate of translation(I had to wait for her to return for her to sign)

12-26-2012 text and email they have received the RFE.

12-29-2012 Appointment for biometrics is 01-23-2012

01-13-2012 AP is approved.

01-23-2012 Biometrics appointment. Later during the evening the text and email saying the EAD is approved.

01-31-2012 EAD/AP combo card arrives.

05-22-2012 Email and text card is in production!
