Hi there! I think there is another September 2010 Filers thread already, why are you going to submit the 129f? The K3 route is practically dead already.

K3/129F route as plan B. Objective being moving to US and be able to work ASAP. Just in case IR-1/CR-1 takes forever - then K3 --> POE --> EAD --> AOS or IR-1/CR-1.....! Meanwhile if IR-1/CR-1 comes through - good. I think NVC cancels K3 application if IR-1/CR-1 comes through earlier.

What do you think??? Any risks or disadvantages with this method. Would like to know seeing that you have been through the whole thing. Best of luck for 10/22 interview.

I suggest, strongly, you give up any hope of a K-3 visa.

Please read?? --> http://www.visajourney.com/news/2010/02/07/department-of-state-to-close-k-3-visas-if-i-129f-and-i-130-petitions-approved-and-received-together/

If any children involved, ie - you were hoping for K-4 derivative visa status, OUCH ! EEK ! PAIN ! File new I-130s on the children, this upcoming week, after you have the NOA-1 in hand on the I-130, reference the receipt # on the first I-130 in/for the rest of them.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

the WAC number is the number on the NOA1 you can log in to the USCIS and see your petition status with it.

Anyone filing simultaneous K3 visa with I-129F after getting I-130 NOA1???

Yes, we sent in the K3 petition today. I am doing it just incase the cr1 gets delayed for some reason. If it gets delayed, hopefully the K3 will get approved and she can come to the US on that while the CR1 is processed.
