And you're even the first in line wooohoooo, we will all be waiting anxiously on news about your interview!!!! Good luck!!!!

Marijke, I know right. I don't know if it had something to do with the email I wrote to NVC last week pleading with them to assign me an early date since this case is for my minor daughter, I explained to them that the new school year is about to start here and she is going to fall behind on top of trying to adjust in a new country. It was a very long humble email just pleading basically.

I don't know if I'm in the correct forum but I'll ask anyway, my wife and I have been given our NOA2 (I-130 & I-129) petition accepted as of Yesterday, I was emailed and told I will receive my acceptance mailed to me but I have no clue how long I have to wait for an interview, if I need an interview at all, can anyone clear up my dilemma?

I guess I would like to know something about the average time scale between now and when I can expect to purchase a plane ticket to fly over to my wife, I live in the UK if that has any relevance.

There are so many variables involved. If you want a very rough estimate: it will be 16 to 20 weeks from today.

If your I-129f was approved before your I-130 petition you are still on the K3 visa route ttp://www.visajourney.com/content/k3guide, this is IR-1/ CR-1 forum...but that doesn't matter. Yes you will have an interview and before that you will have to have a medical.

I f i were you i would not book a flight before your interview, you never know what might happen! I have mine on the 7th and i will book my flight as soon as i'm approved. Sorry don't have an estimated time for you all departments have been delayed for weeks...but they are slowely starting up again.

Hope this helps
