We met 3 years and a year and 4 months later we were married, we met in Ohio after I visited her there for a date... yes we met on the internet. We tried to make a go of it in the UK but found times are too hard here for us to make a half decent life together, we then decided that America was our best option and due to the fact that my wife missed her family and mainly children it went without saying, it would be best for my wife to be near them.
We are now in the process of applying for out I-130/I-129 petitions, we are 5 months in to the process and have mixed emotions, sometime excited and sometimes totally horrified at the prospect of being refused, this would only mean our lives would be turned upside down, no drama! I would put it close to losing a loved if we were to be refused.
