thanks for the congratulations guys. but until we actually get the card I'll be very apprehensive. at the interview, the IO didn't take my wife's I94, which seems to be something that has to happen in order to be approved.

At our interview, the IO didn't take our I-94 either. I even asked her if she wanted it and she said no. So, I wouldn't worry about your IO not taking your wife's. Good luck and fingers crossed you are approved!

ok a bit of weird news. before today, on the status page, the last blue circle which says "Document production or Oath Ceremony" was highlighted. now it went backwards one circle to the "Post Decision Activity" one.

in addition, the message is

On July 21, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

and this is after the site said that the card was ordered. and in addition, we just received a letter 2 days ago saying that the I485 and I130 were both approved and that we would be receiving the card in the mail soon.

is this weird or is it just me?

It seems like the dot goes backwards to post-decision activity anytime whatever was ordered was mailed...so it seems like you're fine!

wow !

read it twice.

then print it out in 110 point-size type, staple it to the back of your outside door.

read it again.

it says what it means, and means what it says !

keep reading it each time before you leave your house !

it's the 'End Game' -

Guess What ?

You Won !

Been searching the forums to confirm what my "card production" update means and I'm laughing my head off here! I think many times you fight the urge to use this: :bonk:

12/24/2010 I proposed. She accepted and stayed.

02/25/2011 Married!

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions

The online system can be inaccurate, but I would trust what the letter says: your I-485 and I-130 are approved and you will get an LPR card in the mail soon. Probably what happened is either the officer who interviewed you changed his mind or he was overruled by a supervising officer (or the "Stokes Unit" that handles cases of suspected marriage fraud in the New York area.)

It sounds like your case was fine or perhaps marginal at best, and I wonder if the officers that handle suspected fraud decided they had bigger fish to fry.
