Yup - The Empress o Groovy's choice of 'signature block' was the #1 reason I turned off 'view signatures in posts' and 'disable all graphics'. Since then, my VJ experience has been much more fruitful !

Sorry lass, I have kept it all 'turned off' - so that was prolly before yer removal of said fondue pot.

I know fondue pots are important to ya, there's a largish reference to same in yer profile page. But seriously - no sh|t sherlock - I changed it all up here in my settings area, solely because of what you had in yer signature block. As a bonus - I could no longer see BooYah!'s charts and graphs - so it was a double win.

My "turn off sigs" point was someone with about 6 HUGE photos in their sig I kid you not it took up my ENTIRE screen and made reading threads incredibly tedious (and I have a large screen with everything teeny tiny most of the time). I live a much more joyous experience now, I'll just look at your profile if i wanna see how cute your kid is or in one persons case... how "hot" his wife is :S

Ugh, I know how you feel.

I'm on a netbook with a 10.1 inch screen and it takes me FOREVER to scroll through some signatures. I don't know why I just don't turn them off

But But - I'm a fan of Venn Diagrams, ALWAYS !!! Maps are useful, too....

Here's a thought, though, however malformed - take all them 'photos' you got, get the originals at full size, make a montage of them, then SHRINK EM DOWN to a bar, about 200 x 600 pixels. Heck, you can even get creative with 'scrolling splats', if yer so inclined - but - if it's still 'too big' for my mondo huge screen, I'll 'turn it off' again (solely, because of you, yet one more time).

Melody - I dunno - many times, ppl are posting when they're having a bad day, or they'll simply jealous that other ppls casefiles are moving along. I'll say this - it's a 'numbers' problem - where the MORE PPL are active, the higher the number o meanies.
