Why are ppl so hateful?

I have been surfing around on VJ... :( I am feeling kinda bad... maybe it is just me and I am all emotional.. but.. some ppl on VJ are sooooo Catty... or Pricey as my Hubby would say... on almost all the threads that I was reading it seemed like the person who posted the question was attacked... and then worse... if they managed to get someone to answer politely then that person was snidely commented against.... geeeze... I dont know if I would of stuck around if I would of gotten that type of response to a question.

I thought VJ was a place to come to learn, share thoughts, ask questions, vent..... VJ was over whelming for me until I got the hang of it... is it too much to ask to show some compassion to the newbies???

VJ wasn't like that when I was a newbie. In a way, this site has become a victim of its own success. With too many posters comes too much noise, and with too much noise, anything good and helpful tends to get drowned out.

Good luck with your visajourney. Grow a thick skin, and learn to wade through the ѕhit to find the gold. It's still there, ya just gotta look harder (and longer) now than I ever did.

That's because it was overrun by libs, who did most of the attacking. Thankfully the power has now balanced out.

Thats my point.. seems like 'older' members are sick of ppl asking... whats next after the NOA2... wow whats the NVC like... etc..

I'm just sayin... If someone ask a question and it annoys you or you think it is stupid... why be an a$$ to the person? why not let someone else with more patience come along and help them?

I am sad to hear these things but I can not fault you for saying them. Sometimes posting in the regional forums is the best way to get answers. Here in Off Topic the conversation can be very heated to say the least. Always bring your baseball bat and asbestos shorts with you when visiting OT.

There are those here who are not comfortable with a viewpoint that differs much from their own. But real life also has its share too.

I know the mods say not to but you can PM me for anything and I will do my best to answer. Please do not take any of the flames that fly, too close to your heart. When its all said and done, we all walked in the same shoes to be with the ones we love. The answers to your quests are here but sometimes a bit hard to find in all the smoke.

There are many cconservatives claiming to be be libs but a true liberal?? Most here are so far to the right I can't even see them without a 40X scope....

I am talking 2007 and prior. Trust me, it was 4/5 Libs in OT.
