Erm... you just said that Australian's beating up racial minorities in Sydney was justified; and that if you were there you'd have joined in. That's not "turning a blind eye", that's jumping right in and knowing what you're doing.

I'm not downplaying anything BY. As I said it isn't possible to have a debate about any topic while fanatics are trying to control the debate. Like many, Charles caught you out in the other thread. To be a challenge you have to actually post something for yourself that goes beyond laughable labels. Something time and time again you fail to do. No matter what stat or source is posted, you will (by default) attempt to shot it down period and never ever accept it. All while, to this day, you will never post anything of your own to back your view. Just cliches and silly comments.

You have stated outright that the situation in African countries and that of black communities within the US can not only be reasonably be compared, but is reason enough to suggest that black people are inherent failures who couldn't manage a piss-up in a brewery. You have explicitly stated this.

You have stated outright that you would prefer that blacks and hispanics have their constitutional rights infringed as collective punishment for the criminals that share their skin color. This isn't my opinion - this is something you have explicitly stated.

You have derided posters on this site for having Significant Others from Central and South American countries as if the fact of their origin makes them somehow inferior and laughable. You have also referred to posters from Central and South American countries as Mayan's and "bowl cut Inca's", clearly implying that they are a shade away from cutting the hearts out of their first born on stone tables. Again - explicitly stated.

You have stated outright that mob violence is justifiable, and that in the case of Australians beating up middle-eastern and asian immigrants in Sydney in an orgy of racially charged violence and racist rhetoric that you not only agree with it but would actually join in. Again - you have explicitly stated this. Meanwhile, you are apparently outraged about photos of extremists at protest rallies. Does this make any logical sense to you? Because it makes none to me.

So tell me, BY. How should any of the above not reasonably lead to a conclusion that you are racist?

I remember the last time the immigration debate rose up, a few years ago. I was a freshman in college, too unaware and frankly, too apathetic to have an opinion either way in politics class. I remember the impassioned declarations from those on both sides of the issue. I also remember thinking that only in the U.S. was it possible to march for "rights" while carrying mostly Mexican flags. To this day, I can't figure out if that is the greatness of the U.S.A or just sheer lunacy.

I'm not worried about anyone "taking over" but if it happened, I would hope with would be peeps from Peru, I spent a few weeks there and found them to be the best of people.

I guess what my post tried to point out was how perfectly fine it is for some people to converge around race, for others it's no-no.

Peru, I spent a few weeks there and found them to be the best of people.

I spent an overnight in Namballe (northern Peru) and was told that gasoline prices are so high that people don't drive (unless they can bootleg fuel from Ecuador). This must explain the turkey that was unmolestedly sauntering up the middle of Namballe's main street, si man. My fondest memory was buying a nice leather belt from a shopkeeper (who spoke English) & seeing him beam when I said that I would wear his belt in the Estados Unidos. My unfondest memory (of several disasters) was finally finding a restaurant that was open, being assured that "carne de res" (standard edible meat) would be served, & instead being served BURRO, gag man. "GAW-lee, Wil-burrrrr!"

It was also fun to watch a chicken wander into the money-changing store at the border, si man. It was also not fun to spend over an hour in the morning trying to roust the Peruvian Customs dude out of bed (at his house, a quarter-mile from the border through mud, mosquitos, construction trenches, & cowpies) to get my "gringo exit stamp" from his completely dried-up inkpad, no man. Viva Peru! Viva Ecuador! Viva Mexico! Viva paper towels! Si, man.

The point was, how does a government combat a group that holds an opinion? What exactly can they do to prevent them holding that opinion?
