Hi Guys,

Just want to share this with everyone. I was a bit surprised to see how fast it was.

1.) Sent my I-129F on 4/20/10 to CSC

2.) CSC received my application on 4/21/10 and issused NOA1 same day!!!!!

3.) Check cashed on 4/22/10 (got the case no. from the posted check receipt from my bank online, loged in to USCIS and saw the NOA1 issued already on 4/21/10, NICE)

4.) NOA1 in hand on monday 4/26/10, less then a week after sending my application.

I knew NOA1 is ususally fast as its just an acknoledgement that USCIS have the application but I was still really surprised to see how fast this was.

I just hope the rest of the process goes this fast. I have waited long enough.

1/20/10 - Met first time.....Yes arranged by family....Instant Connection

1/31/10 - Got Engaged

2/05/10 - Back to US and playing the Phone Game

4/20/10 - I-129F Sent

4/21/10 - NOA1

4/22/10 - Check Cashed

4/23/10 - Touched

4/26/10 - NOA1 Received

6/29/10 - Touched

6/29/10 - NOA2 Mailed

6/30/10 - e-mail received: I-129F Approval and NOA2 mailed (strange that e-mail sent a day later after they mailed)

7/01/10 - Hardcopy NOA2 IN HAND

7/06/10 - NVC Received case

7/07/10 - Called NVC and given the new case number YES YES YES YES YES!!!!

7/08/10 - Case Left NVC, send to consulate

7/12/10 - Consulate Received

7/13/10 - Packet 3 Sent to fiance

NOA1 doesn't mean a thing... I got mine in 5 days!!! :bonk::bonk:

Thanks. It already feels way to loooooooooooooooooooooooooong. I would have been in this 'line' a month ago if the stupid international courier hadn't misplaced the package with her documentation. But hey, I am still happy. It is finally in.

Not trying to be a debbie downer, but most of the time your NOA1 date is the same day or the day after it's delivered. At least it was in September when I filed.

But I'm glad you're so excited. :)

I am right there with you... I recently sent my petition in and just received my NOA1,, I know it's the first small step in a long journey, but it's definitely a step!

Seeing your overjoyousness makes me feel giddy inside. Now begins the long wait. Well, not really long. Five months goes by quickly if you're busy. Also if you have the opportunity to visit your spouse or spouse-to-be now and then. Also, if your forms goes out to California or Texas, the trend suggests you'd get your NOA2 in 3.5 months. Even better, no! I'm assuming one has filed I-130.

I'm happy for you, bruv. You got arrange-engaged.

So sorry about that, I know what you are talking about, like we paid this attorney $1700 for the K-1 visa we waited 3 almost 3 months and nothing happened, the we had to start all over again with a new attorney…

But there is always a happy ending.

Now that you have so much time on your hands try to get all the info about the interview medical and everything else always be a step ahead. So that when the day final comes you will now what do next.
