I'm still waiting for my letters (biometric and RFE) I'll be the last from the April filers to have her biometrics taken...

Apparently they "touched" my I 845 today...

Wait and see!

Its a gamble, but maybe your right, maybe waiting for the whole thing and then submitting it all together could have taken later then getting a RFE and submitting it now. Well be sure to go to a civil

Actually I didn't receive any update online since I did my biometrics, the last update is on my 485 and EAD at May 7th.

You are in Green Bay so I assume you went to Milwaukee for biometrics? You were able to do walk in biometrics? They turned me down. Oh well. My appointment is tomorrow. Finally

I remember when I first joined VJ and thought we were going to be filing soon, there was someone on the Sub-Saharan forum who was keeping a spreadsheet. I couldn't wait to get on it.

I was just thinking this weekend that I wanted to set one of these up for us April filers, but I didn't really know where to start.

Hi everyone! We've been reading and learning a lot from you guys so we wanted to finally post in case our information helps anyone. I (this is Bel the USC posting) noticed a few time lines that are very close to ours! I did our time line but I'm not sure if I did it correctly so I hope it's not confusing. We weren't as diligent in keeping a time line as most of you but I think we have most of the important information listed.

Our interview is June 22nd and we had not even planned to prepare anything to take with us like pictures or whatever but after reading what all some of you bring I am feeling the need to do something! We have been married a while,(three years tomorrow!!)and we waited a long time to file our AOS, so maybe that's why we didn't think about needing to prove the validity of our marriage but better safe than sorry!

So we are going to take wedding photos, vacation photos, photos of our kids together (from prior marriages) and some co-mingled accounts. Funny thing is, we really should be thinking about this because I didn't take his last name when we married because of my daughter still in school and my house is in my name that I owned before we married so all the utilities are too and it was too much hassle to go change any of that. So we only have a couple of things that are co-mingled! Hope that doesn't affect the decision! I can explain it all to make perfect sense but I still do have a little worry.

Thanks to everyone who has posted before us. It definitely helped us in this process!

Oh and I wanted to say that we have never received an email or text from USCIS even though we did sign up for them.

We also received the interview appointment letter long after the last "touch" (which was right after biometrics appointment) and no other touch until a few days after receiving it. It also look like we will have the interview before the EAD is approved, which is ok of course! We just filed it in case it took longer so my husbands company didn't have to file to extend his J1 visa and he could keep working in the event he got laid off but all is fine there now. Thank goodness!
