I hope it's a quick few months... for your sake.

There's not much you can do, it's your mom. Don't talk about your personal issues with her. Don't let her see you argue with your husband or anything like that either. It only feeds the fire. I have relatives like this. Just smile and bake cookies  and pretend everything is peachy for a while.

Put fine amounts of powdered glass in her food she won't taste it and it will take a few days-weeks to work but after that BAM!!! Dead as a door nail.

Or

Just kill her in her sleep.

I mean, the possibilities are really endless, murder works on all nationalities and is fairly cheap.

Good luck w/ your homicide!!!!

I'd tell her directly how I felt about and would ask her to respect my privacy. If she continued, I'd take her dirty laundry and dump it out on the street.

Then kill her?

Man, and I thought murder was brutal.... There are fates worse then death and nursing homes are one of them, I used to work in one.

Depends how bad she's being. Can you give an example?

My MIL LOVES to be the centre of attention and needs to know EVERYTHING. She told my husband (before I was around) that he had to "buy" the family home. My husband and his father have an agreement about the family home when they've had enough of it where he'll take it off their hands (maintain, rates, etc) and they can live their till ... well whatever. When his mother told him he had to buy it he said sure, then he'd put her in a nursing home but dad could live there.

She also won't "let" the youngest child be a chef because she won't earn enough money. She expects the children to support her in her old age.

When my husband was younger and doing paper routes etc to get enough money for a car when he was older, she was joint on the account because he was under age. He had around $4K (including bday money etc) and she stole it all. Then told him as he lived under her roof she didn't have to pay him back. He was like 13. His father told her to buy him a truck or he'd divorce her. A year or so later she asked to borrow money and he said no. She said she'd just go and take it out. He said "too bad. Dad's on it now. We took you off".

Evil woman in my opinion.

What's yours do?

There are some things that I don't like about my mother but I love her just the same.

If your mom doesn't give way to you, understand her. You are the one who's younger. She may be having difficulties and issues about herself in this stage of her life.

If she's really insufferable, run away.
