I just got the email that they approved the I129F. 10 o'clock at night the email just arrived. I could not believe it was sent this late at night but I am so happy. Now for the next step in the process. My thanks to God, and to the advise recieved here. Any advice on the next step in the process would be most welcome.

Congratulations for being approved!

Are you the beneficiary?

Your case will be forwarded to the NVC now from the USCIS. Give the NVC a ring tomorrow or in two days to check if they already have your case. Once they get it into their system, the NVC will assign a new case number that usually starts with the letters MNL. When you have that, bring a copy of your NOA2 and if possible, a copy of the NVC letter showing your new case number and take the medical exam at SLMCEC. In the meantime, make sure you have all documents ready for the interview. The moment your case arrives in the U.S. Embassy in Manila from the NVC, call again and schedule your interview. Before or after the interview, attend the CFO seminar. If I forgot anything here, I'm certain that other members of the VJ family will add.

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
