Consulate Review: Morocco
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 3, 2009
Embassy Review : My husband and I followed both the K3 and CR1 tracks. His first interview was with a blonde woman who tried to trick him on a few questions however he was able to answer everything. He said the most important thing was to remain calm and to be sure of your answers. At one point she asked him to tell everything I have done in my 29 years, and he corrected by saying my wife is only 26. The interview only lasted about 20 minutes and we were put into AP.

For the CR1 interview about 6 weeks later he had a woman with long black hair who was very nice with him. The interview took like 5-6 minutes and she asked typical questions, when.. how... where did you meet and tell me more about your wife. He told her things until she told him to stop.

Every person we spoke with at the consulate was very helpful and they respond quickly to e-mails. All in all, the Casablanca was very good for us.

He was called 2 weeks the CR1 interview to drop off his passport and picked it up the next day.

Good luck to everyone waiting
Rating : Good

POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2009-06-18
Embassy Review : Everything went very good. Except for the waiting time. The plane landed when lots of other planes landed. The officers were really nice and helpful and I give it very good marks. There were some people in front of me that were having some troubles with their visa. The officer that helped them was very patient with them and tried to explain the situation the best he could as they didn't speak english well.
The total time for waiting was 3 hours however it would have gone much faster had those three people not been there.
They didn't ask any questions and no harassment at all. All were friendly and helpful.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
