If I sent my AOS on October 14th...how long until I hear something...anything...? I have no tracking number for the package I sent. I sent it registered mail thinking all this stuff would be included but no, nothing. I think my postman is getting weirded out coz I'm there in a flash, poking my head round the door.

The thing about this whole process is, I'm relaxed and normal until I have to post stuff and then all sanity goes. I know you feel it too VJ'ers!

JoJo XXX

Hang in there JoJo. You should get your NOAs any day now. It took a while for Djohn to receive his, also in San Francisco. Keep stalking the postman!

Thank you for the calming words!! Now for the Fed Ex man's turn...waiting on a wig for Halloween. XX

Don't worry km24 - yours will come soon  I'm praying for you.

Yeah I am not sure if walk-in bio will speed up the process. I guess they have to have the bio done before they can further process I-485 and I-765?? This lawyer my company uses keeps saying I might not get my EAD till January... I hope that is not the case. :(

Just wanted to let you guys know, we did our biometrics appointment today. We were scheduled for 10/30 and we were going to do a walk-in the other week but they told us they only did walk-ins on Wednesdays, so we were just going to go to the scheduled appointment. Today we decided what the heck and went anyway. It was pretty painless. We actually got there at 3:40ish and they don't do them after 3:45 which we didn't realize, so we barely made it lol. They were very nice and took him anyway. There were no guards at ours and there were only like 2 people in front of my husband. They checked his ID and his letter and went from there. The whole thing was over in under 20 mins. Pretty cool. I think it depends on your individual centers.

I think you should get it soon but, and that is a big but, we ALL know how unequal USCIS is in terms of service. I mean did you guys see the post from the AOS august filer who got their green card today? And then you got people waiting like six months for theirs... AND don't even get me started on the website! I WANT TO SEE MY CASE!!! aaaaahhhhhh okay- I'll drop it but we are going to attempt the walk-in Biometrics tomorrow. km good luck! Hope you get it soon.
