Embassy Review : Seoul Embassy is extremely efficient and friendly. I'm submitting this review on behalf of my fiance. He just finished his interview today & overall his experience is outstanding. He arrived at the embassy at 8:00 AM, schedule interview is at 8:30 AM. Around 8:30 AM, he started to submit the documents through different windows. Then its fingerprinting. Then he waits for the final interview with the consulate officier. The entire interview was 3 mins long. The officer asked him: Where did you meet her? next question was when do you two plan to get married? then the officer asked if he can speak Chinese, since i'm Chinese American, i guess the officer was curious. That was it! Officer said OK!!! and stamped the papers..... fiance jumped up and said thank you & have a nice day. Overall, great impression of the Seoul Embassy. Since our case was forwarded to the Seoul Embassy from National Visa Center, it was extremely efficient and excellent customer service. There is a special line and time you can call in to the embassy for questions regarding your case. Even before our case arrived at the Seoul Embassy their customer service agent already had our case # in the (upcoming K1 Visa computer system). I gotta love Korea for their great technology... everything's basically digital in Korea. Even medical examinations, authorized hospitals would have the case # in their system already. Anyhow, its amazing! Definitely KUDOS! to Seoul Embassy
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Los Angeles
Event Description
Entry Date : 2009-07-22
Embassy Review : Well, i gotta say LAX is probably the worse poe airports. Fiance arrived early in the morning at 9 AM, there were not any flights ahead of him so therefore, the international terminal at LAX should be fairly calm... but still took him over 1 hour. Basically, the immigration officer opened the envelope, asked how we met, when we plan to get married, whether he's aware that I have been married before, How long we have known eachother, made such comments as: if you two have only been together for 1year, and already decides to get married? he was questioning ... honestly, in my opinion it was none of his business...

Anyhow, really sorry to say but LAX is the worse poe place ever!
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
