Ruby - congrats on the bio letter! As for doing the walk-in, I heard it can make things go faster, but I have no idea yet as we just did ours last week.

NEway, i got my biometrics appointment tomorrow at 2pm so I'm excited!!

HE made this happen... To God be all glory! :)

05/10/97 - Arrived in the US as a tourist - had been illegal since.

02/06/09 - Met my wonderful husband online :) :)

03/27/09 - Started dating

06/17/09 - We're engaged!!

08/08/09 - Marriage Ceremony! :D

09/29/09 - AOS Package I-130 / I-485 / I-765 / I-864 sent to Chicago

10/01/09 - Package delivered.

10/09/09 - Checks cashed.

10/13/09 - 3 NOA1 received.

10/16/09 - RFE notice date.

10/22/09 - RFE received in mail and responded back.

10/22/09 - Biometrics letter in mail dated 10/16.

11/03/09 - Biometrics appointment.

We got a touch on our I485 today (that sms scared the ####### out of me lol), but not our EAD, with an update on the Uscis site to....

Initial Review ( :dance: woo hoo! :dance: )

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283

The last update we got was on 10.29 ...

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On October 21, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. At first I had a panic attack because I thought the update we got today said they were sending our case back to where it came from. Good thing I have those emails saved or I would have my head in the toilet right now. :bonk:

Hey Greg001,

Still no NOA in the mail. The only thing received so far is the biometrics appointment letter. The is set for November 10. I called the other day and they needed to find our information using a last name search because it is still not showing up in the online database. They said nothing is wrong with the application and it appears to still be at the National benefits center. No other notifications by mail. We will just have to be patient and wait to see when the next update comes along. I will keep you updated.
