to the Op: how about calling Tom, ask him how he's doing, and ask him where his wife is, kind of like just help him into the realization; May try asking him quations that actually has another underlying question. And as someone had posted on here, he should open his eyes. You cannot force someone to love you, he may not have forced her, but what is he still waiting for? That only happen in movies! IF she loves him, she loves him, if not, please he should just wake up and accept reality..

I really do hope Tom can accept this, as he really deserves something better. And it would help much too if he knows because yes, as you said, the girls' safety is a big concern.

as my fiance always told me when we had just started talking, it greatly has to do with character.. the most attractive playmate looking women, if they're just empty shells, then they are imcomparable to a woman, who even if she's not pageant beautiful, has a great heart and has values.

Wow, Myla... I'm sorry you are in this uncomfortable position of feeling loyalty to your sister and also caring about your brother-in-law. How long have they been married now?

Here's my honest opinion - since you don't know for certain what your sister is up to, and since Tom seems to know the score between himself and his wife, I would hold off on saying anything. Before you do say something to Tom, you should confront your sister on the phone and then ask her. If she is in fact, in another relationship, then tell her that she needs to come forward to tell Tom. I'd even give her the ultimatum that if she doesn't tell him, then you will.
