You know the severe weather warnings the National Weather Centre puts out about thunderstorms and "nickle-sized hail, with winds up to 60mph"?

It's happening right here in Portland, Maine, and it's AWESOME!!! I've never seen hail like it. I went out to close my car window, and within 20 seconds I was absolutely drenched to the bone.

I loveeeeee Hail storms! As well as the rain..it can get so intense and loud....I use to love laying in bed at night listening to the rain pound down outside!

  • **Waiting for Notice of I129F approval to show up in the mail!**

  • ** Nervous as all hell - Still no Instruction packet**
  • ** 27th June Email - Saying Application Approved??? **
  • July 7th Packet 3 Arrived (First one went missing? - this one was marked 'duplicate')
  • Pack 4 arrived 31st July
  • Appointment 18th Aug

Last Friday, July 7 It poured rain here in Tucson like I have never seen it before. I have lived here since 88.

It dumped . The roads became rivers, and if It had rained a couple of more minutes I would have been bailing water out of the house. The back yard was a swimming pool.

13 feet of water in some places where there is normally none.

I've only seen tiny hail once before...it's one of those things that while they are destructive you want to be able to say you've seen 'em. :D

hail is neat unless you own a car or a house :P

We get hail often in the spring and the summer. I really love to listen to thunder storms and watch the lightening flash.........Nature surely has a way to let you see real beauty in life......enjoy the storms!!!

hmmm...seen them//ever been in one doing a storm??? had several friends when younger..went camping for long weekpend and a big ###### storm came up...tore the hell out of the trailer.;.and several boys ###### their pants...
