my husband and i had filed all our papers and until the final interview everything was fine, all papers were filed in time and completed, at our final interview the interviewer decided without a proper interview that we were in a fraud marriage, she asked only a few questions off the forms we had submitted, her supervisor did another interview and asked me and my husband different question and then said our answers didn't match, now we have to wait up to 60 to get a letter as to why we were denied, we r not in a fraud marriage ,, what do we do now?? any suggestions will help

Your info says you filed for a K1 (fiance visa) but you mention having a husband. That use of language in itself could have caused a red flag for the CO. Did he not get a piece of paper with the denial reason? That is the usual way to be denied. The most important thing right now is to try and keep the case at the consulate, so it is not sent back to the USA. Contact them and see if you can get an appeal, hire a lawyer if necessary.

Can you and your fiance (husband?) compare the questions you got asked and see what the differences are? How long have you been together, and did you have plenty of evidence of a bonafide relationship (what did you submit as evidence)? Do you speak eachother's langauages? Do your families know and approve of your engagement/ marriage? The answer to these questions may help us help you.

EDITED to add:

Hold on... reading your info and post again, was it that your husband came here on a K1, you got married and he is now applying for AoS? Same questions apply though, ie what evidence did you provide, what questions did they ask etc.

Indeed, your post is a bit confusing. Was this interview for AOS?

It sounds like it was a visa interview, at the Casablanca consulate in Morocco...for a K-1. Visa issuance was denied and the petition is being sent back stateside for a NOID/NOIR. The OP will probably get the best answers to her question by posting in ME/NA.

But if it's a K-1, why use the term "husband"?

If you fill in the timeline and then describe what this interview was for (adjustment of status? visa?) people will be better able to help you. :star:

Please provide more information if possible. We are talking about a K1 visa out of Casablanca but you are referring to your husband? Are you legally married or just engaged to be married?

Casa is a notoriously difficult post due to a large amount of visa fraud, many applicants are refused due to circumstances which are viewed by the consular officer as a red flag.

First off, a denial such as this at the consulate is not a hard denial...they cannot deny the visa petition, they can only refuse to issue a visa for the application and return the petition/application back to the original local service center for review along with their recommendation for revocation and the reason(s) why.

When a visa application is refused at the time of interview by a consular officer, the Department of State (consulate) is required by law to notify the beneficiary of the intent in writing. So, your husband/fiance should have been issued a Department of State document with details of the outcome such as 221g - ...and the reasons for visa refusal. Some receive this 221g with comments that say "pending administrative processing" So it is important for you to know exactly what this paper says.

It is important for you to act quickly, have him scan this document and send it to you via email ASAP. Depending on what this paper says will determine your next steps if any are available to you.

Send me a PM when you get that paper, and let me know the wording. I will then be in a better position to point you in the appropriate direction for more information on what you can do.

There are links in my signature below which contain quite a bit of information that can help you...but key is knowing exactly what that paper says.
