I found this phone number on another website and confirmed at the uscis website. 1-800-375-5283...I would definitely be calling to find out why you haven't gotten any hardcopy for your NOA1. It shouldn't take this long to confirm receiving the application.

Good Luck and let me know what you hear!

my hubby called that number. he said it was just a machine. no operator? argh! it said something about july 29th thing... i dunno i didn't understand what my hubby texted me earlier today. we still haven't talked about it. i will let u know :)

Hello,

So, U mean U haven't receive the noa1? U can't create an account without the Receipt #, and U can't see also the

receipt at the system. U can see the receipt if u have a NOA1 that ur hubby receive to there house or where he address his mailed. u can see the receipt the at the right upper of the NOA1

If u have an account this is the one u can see in the system

Receipt Number: wac*************

Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Case received and pending.

good luck, PRAY and be patients

shiela and todd

hey shiela. you can create an account. you just cant add the receipt number to your portfolio. the receipt number we have was from the back of the check when they cashed it. banks print at the back of the check the details of who cashed it and what for. i know i used to work in a bank. what i am saying now is that it's been what? almost 3 weeks and still we haven't received the hardcopy of the NOA1 yet. i wanna see the hardcopy lol not just the wac# that was printed at the back of my hubby's check. seeing the hardcopy will make me feel better :)

i thought i was patient. i guess i am not! :blush::whistle:

HELLOO..

YOU CAN CALL THEM , I DID AND I GOT MY NUMBER BEFORE MY HUSBAND GOT THE NOA1 PAPER..... THE PHONE IS 1800-3755283

"Hardcopy" means "paper copy." If you received the Receipt Notice of Action, you received the "hardcopy."

Most likely they are considering the NOA1 to be the email notice and the Hard copy to be the actual letter. It is normally actually the letter that counts the most, since it is what is needed later on in the process (although not so much with CR-1). However, with things changing to electronic that might also be changing

i know what hardcopy means. i am saying we don't have it. nothing in the mailbox or his PO box. although we have the wac# (the receipt number) already. we got that information from the back of the check after they cashed it. what i am whining about is how come it's been almost 3 weeks and no hardcopy yet. also that when we go to the uscis website and type our wac# (the one at the back of the check) it still is saying validation error. you said it yourself, it's the letter that counts the most. we still don't have it to this day. i wouldn't be so ####### about it if at least when we go check the status online it's there, but it isn't.

andrea, you think i have more patience huh? it's really running thin  my hubby doesn't have the patience to stay on the phone and it's what frustrates me. i wonder if i should just give them a call using vonage

Abbie, I would have been on the phone all ready!!!!! :P My husband definitely doesn't have the patience!

Hello everyone. I filed I-130/CR1 on July 14, 2009. My case was touched on both August 20th and again today, August 21st. I tend to easily get excited by this...but my question is whether you guys think there is any unusual significance to 2 touches in 24 hours. Thanks for any input. Eric.

Welcome to the July 09 filers Erica and Myracle! I also filed a I-129f (K-3) application a week after I filed the I-130, and they "touched" both receipt numbers when received the K-3 app. I figured they were making sure that it was for the same person! Other than that, I haven't a clue on the "touchings" but it is exciting all the same!!!!

did you add one more digit to the last number on the back of ur wac?

for example: wac# 987654321+1= wac#987654322 and that would be ur original wac# on ur NOA1

 I'm sorry, I meant on the back of ur check ;)

hey Chris and Ani.

wow i didn't know that you need to add another digit... it has to be +1? not 2 or any other number? i never read anything about that  well i haven't read ALL of VJ anyhow

thanks for the info Chris and Ani. you are a lot of help  and all of you who put up with me  now i won't be biting the head off of my hubby lol

Hi girls,

I'm glad I was able to help you, hehe... :) it's been not that long for some people considering how long they've waited for, but fair long enough for me process... Anyway, we just finished our visa journey... almost (still have POE ;) ) Got my visa today after a 40-min conversation with council. If you'd like, I'll post you here a link later with my interview experience from today. Now I'm going to rest. Been too nervous last few days, so now going to chill and think of a flight  If anyone has any questions, please, don't hesitate to ask here, my inbox is full. :P BTW, And_Sam, ur wrong about NOA1, it's the NOA2 that you'll need later. NOA1 is not... ;)

I GOT IT...FOLLOW WHAT CHRIS AND ANI ADVICE, ADD +1 TO THE LAST DIGIT # OF UR WAC..

THIS IS THERE EXAMPLES ( for example: wac# 987654321+1= wac#987654322) DON'T WORRY TO MUCH

U NEED MORE PATIENCE TO THIS STUFFS.. THE IMPORTANT THAT U WILL RECEIVE IS THE NOA2 SOON..

Yes you are right, that would be a good way for practicing patience...unfortunately I can only go so far!

Abbie, did you see anything online yet?

Let us know!!!!! Now you've got us all caught up in the suspense!!!:blink:

hi andrea, you and me both! lol i can only go so far! :innocent:

i followed Chris and Ani's advice and added +1 to the WAC number (that was at the back of the check) and saw it online  it said they got the package on the 7th and they have mailed the NOA1. however as you know, we still don't have the NOA1. also, i still don't understand why i gotta add 1 to the numbers?

Oh I am soo happy for you!!!:dance: At least now you can see it online! well since they have received your package, now you can wait I believe a month, and have them remail the NOA1 because you will need it as proof later on down the road......

I am so glad it finally showed up!

NOA1 is not... ;)

Congratulations!!!! and you are right, it's not the NOA1 but the second one!!! That is great on the short convo before getting the visa!!!! You deserve a good rest! I would be sooo nerved out about it all, heck I am getting stressed about it now!!!!:yes:
