Anyone else getting sick of checking igor's list and the USCIS site yet? I know I am! I hoping to hear something any day now, but who knows! Anything I can do in the mean time to keep me sane?

this is an insane process, so not much you can do, just keep checking uscis.org and igor's list.

good luck!

I know how you feel. Mine is supposed to be in about two months. I do keep hoping that I will be one of the lucky ones that get theirs way earlier than expected, but that hasn't happened yet hehe. Also.. what is Igor's List??

I understand how you feel and I am only a month into my NoA1. Feel better that you are further down the road and that you probably will not have that much more of a wait. Believe me I understand how you feel. I dream of the day that this will be over, and I do not have to constantly worry about being deemed "Worthy" to be able to marry. Stay strong, remind yourself this is only temporary and soon you will be with the person you want to spend the rest of your days with. You will both laugh about this in the future and if your relationship can sustain the separation you both will be able to overcome any obstacle you may encounter together. I hope you feel better.

What's "igor's list"?

Click on "Immigration Timelines" in the bar at the top of the page. In the middle column under "Statistics", click on "Processing Status: Igor's List". You'll see a statistical analysis of processing times for VJ members.

Stop checking both lists and it will come...if you check USCIS every day/hour/etc, you will go crazy.

Quoted For Truth!!

At one point i was going nuts..checking sites timelines etc..20 times a day..i actually put myself in a depression and almost said to hell with it. Luckily i have a very wonderul and amazing fiance and he came up to see me, and made me realize that waiting 6-10months ( hey anything is possible) is nothing compared to the years we still have ahead of us. I know right now you can't see it..but you will. and you'll wonder why you were so insane during this process.

We are in the same boat. We try not to think of it but I can't help it. We've waited a long time for this and now each day seems to be going slower and slower. Of course it does not help when VSC takes at least a month longer than when we started also a month longer than CSC.

I wish you all the best luck! Let's hope they will start getting them approved in soon!

Just be glad your at the CSC. VSC recently moved it's expected processing time for I-129Fs back to about 8 months, compared to CSC's 5 months. Enjoy what you've got!

It was really a little under seven months: On June 15, 2009 they said they were processing 129Fs from November 25, 2008

I guess that is until we have the visa in hand. Acording to Igor's list most people are aproved around 130 days, a little over 4 months for the NOA2 and depending which country you are from you might still have the visa in hand in 6 months.

Maybe I am trying to be much too positive but there are a lot of people with promising timelines.

Ah yes, I was once that optimistic. Once that first wave of people receiving their NOA2s passes over you (which I hope it doesn't!), you'll probably change your tone too. There was indeed apparently someone who sent their I-129f in on 11/25 who just received their NOA2.

I was told today by USCIS that I still have 72 days to go (NOA1 date of Feb. 5) until they can even think about submitting a service request. Being as they can just change that at their will, there's basically no end to this game in sight for some of us.

I guess I just gotta chill out, huh? It's comforting to know there are other people out there struggling through this process too! Good luck to everybody!
