I was kind of sad for Germany though. I thought they dominated most of the game but just didn't take advantage of their scoring opportunities. If they could have just held out another 2 minutes they probably would have beaten them in free kicks. But so much for the better for Italy because that would have been a sucky ending to such a nice defensive match.

Italy played great soccer today. Obviously at this level it should be a body play and I am pretty impressed with referee’s most decision in today’s game. Anyway both teams played great but Italy rocks in last few minutes of game.

I was not happy to see Italy win... there are some talented players sure... but the diving, cheating and the referree's decisions never to punish them for this ###### makes me ill... the two goals were fantastic yep... but I just cannot stand Italy and their cheating ways. I can't stand the Argypargypanties either... no matter what... I could not say this of Brazil... for they do have a certain class. They do not cheat... and that for me is the bottom line... a team that cheats will do anything to win... foul means or fair... and I simply cannot stand that. So sad day that Germany lost and the cheats won.

Well, I'm so sorry you see this in this way and I feel for you . I've never heard such a qualifying qualities from people that really knows about Football (I mean soccer) and Italy is already a pain on the neck for people that doesn't enjoy a good football match. In essence Italy practices one of the most beautiful and cleanest football in the World. And going to the point Germany just did a great game

And yes, Portugal-Italy would be so interesting
