We received the "welcome letter" in the mail and it says "2-year green card". We'll take it!

It also says we should receive it within 3 weeks, when the email from USCIS says 4 weeks. We'll see who's right!

And then, once received, it will be "Party Time", I hope you guys can make it :)

Good luck to you all, and thanks for your support, it really helped.

Paul & Angela

hi everybody,my husband and i mailed our AOS forms in march, and we had our interview today.the lady took the I-94 and said she was going to approve us.we should get the card in 2 weeks. i really learned a lot on the forum. i was prepared with all kinds of papers and what if senerios, but it was pretty fast and painless once we got inside her office.i was in a panic while waiting in the waiting room, but she was nice and non threatening.she did not ask me much of anything, just if i had insurance for my husband, how we met,and a little small talk.she asked my husband the form questions,a little bit about holland where he is from,if he had a job.she looked at a few of the hundred page book of stuff i brought, did not ask to see any documents except id,she asked my husband where we were married, and my birthday, which he got reversed with our anniversary but he corrected himself.it lasted 15 minutes.she said we would get a 2 year green card.I hope nothing happens between now and the time we get the green card.I am so relieved this is almost over, all the blood sweat and tears is almost over.THANK GOD.

I wondered if anyone can tell me something. Today Marcos received a book called "Welcome to the US" guide. This after receiving the Welcome letter saying he would receive his 2 year green card within three weeks. Has anyone received this book before the green card or after? What was your timeline for that? I know it's crazy but we are a little worried because the card hasn't arrived yet ( you know lost in the mail, etc  )

Thanks (from a worried wife) to any one who responds :D
