We haven't gotten any news about GC either no transfer no interview no status update online..

BTW: if any of you have to travel on AP do go thru MIAMI my husband traveled on his AP and came back in the US thru MIAMI they had him in customs for 4hrs they said as long as he doesn't have a GC he will have to go thru this...... he missed his connecting flight they lost his luggage (found it the next day) so he ended up spending a night in MIAMI, which totally messed up our memorial day plans!!!

We just got an automated email from USCIS saying the EAD card was being produced!

Angela will soon be able to finally pass her driving license and start looking for a job.

By the way, it's the first time ever - including K-1 application - we get anything through the email system of the web site. Proof that there is no logic whatsoever to that system and that it cannot be relied upon.

Still no news regarding the AP!

Anyway, to the folks who got their AOS NOA late March early April, things are moving, albeit very slowly, so don't despair... easy for me to say now that we have EAD and interview date :)

Our Timeline below - CA Service Center - Consulate: Rio de Janeiro - Local Office: San Jose, CA

OK.

I got the magic email from CRIS saying welcoming the new permanent resident.

It talks about ADIT processing.

What does this mean?

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On May 27, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

and then I also got this email:

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

The last processing action taken on your case

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On May 27, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I got the card production ordered first on May 27 then the Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident on May 28 which says about ADIT.

Makes me confuse.
