Why couldn't you have found someone who lives around here?

It happens to me every time I mention Leidys to friends, family, co-workers, etc.

What about you and your SO?

Nope. Maybe they are scared to ask. Actually, most folks she is my daughter.

Honestly my brother thinks that I am just geographically challenged. He swears that if Viktoria lived in the same city I wouldn't find her at all attractive.

Oh yes. It usually leads to me telling stories of Linh's country (Vietnam). It just makes all of us more interesting to talk with.

He didn't but I did. His family thought I was next best thing thing to candy corn, but my mom had my dad's gun out when he met them for the first time.

They must really love you because candy corn is the best! It's candy vegetables!!!!!!

I use to hear it all the time when I first started this process. I didn't let it bother me then, nor do I now. My Happiness is dependent on what I want, not what other people want....

I usually don't get too much reaction, except for when I tell people I'm moving to South Carolina. Their eyes usually open up a lot wider!! Then they say.." wow...that's far away!"...

The real funny thing is, I wasn't "looking" when Tim came into my life, and he wasn't "looking" either. Our relationship just happened. But it's true blue, and I wouldn't want it any other way! I wouldn't care if he lived in another country!! He's the one for me.... (L)

To stay in business in the electronics field with a global market, was constantly checking all over the world for the best deal on electronic components. If I limited my search to the USA, would have been out of business. So why limit your soulmate search, if you were even searching for a soulmate.

Wasn't even looking for a woman, just accidentally clicked on the wrong link where I met my wife, was weird, we hit it off. Could have bumped into a woman at the grocery store, or met one at a wedding, park, beach or anywhere, but didn't. Did a blind date work out for anyone? Not for me. Avoided mail order places like the plague. Even went to some singles gathering with over four hundred women to choose from, but none of interest to me was there. Our meeting was purely by accident and made possible by the internet and in another part of the world. We became good friends at first, but one thing led to another, very different way of dating. We had a very strong platonic relationship that cumulated into a very strong physical attraction as well, but that happened much later.

Could call it a miracle.

Yeah I get that question and the green card accusations. Honestly I don't care anymore! I just want to be happy, and being happy means being with Dani :) What they don't understand is she can go to any country in the EU! It's not about the place, its about us.
