I wouldn't have missed that show for the world. The Governor of West Virginia made the mistake of showing up and was promptly heckled off stage. That jackass that shot the video won't come off the whole show for me.

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Watching Beethoven perform his Symphony No. 9 May 7, 1824 in the Kärntnertortheater in Vienna was a great experience, but that was in a previous life.

Music pretty much sucks in this life.

First concert Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. I was about 8 years old and my cousin was babysitting me. He had to take me

Best concert....... hmmm thats a lot more difficult. Rush, Primus, Public Enemy in 1991 was a great one. So was Pink Floyd at the Hollywood Bowl 1994, and In Death Valley, S.C. 1996. Then there was Pantera 1997, Long Beach, CA. Now that was an experience.

First rock concert I attended was Black Sabbath w/ Ronnie James Dio. Yes, I picked a doozy for my first concert.

Best was probably Monsters of Rock in '88 at the LA Coliseum. Metallica started a riot; we were glad we didn't get seats on the grass like we had wanted.

The first concert was The Tea Party, A Canadian band.

The best concert was the the DropKick Murphys in 1997 or 98, one of those two years. I got to get up on stage and sing a song with the band. Never had so much fun before. I came across the video of the concert many years after, somebody online was selling copys of the show. I didnt sing or look as good as my memories had led me to believe but I did have alot of fun.

I would have to say it was STYXX/ KANSAS in Nashville Tn. back in the early 90's. I took 3 of my kids 12,13,14. and they actually enjoyed it. Had to go buy a Styxx tape the next day for them. Their excitement made it my best concert.

My mom took me with her to see The Allman Brothers when I was seven or eight. I vaguely remember having a really good time until I passed out from all the pot smoke.

Real love stories never have endings...
